Content Editing Virtual Consultation

A 20-minute virtual/phone consultation will be booked to discuss client's editing needs. No editing services will be performed as a result of booking this consultation.

Following the consultation, client may receive, sign and return a contract for services, which also detail invoicing and payment methods.

Editing services include:

Comprehensive conceptual editing, line editing, and copy editing of the author's work, which includes, but is not limited to manuscripts; newsletters; blogs; articles; resumes; cover letters; etc.

A detailed evaluation of the overall formatting style, and content of the document in order to optimize visual design and comprehensibility will be conducted. Editor will also provide a written critique and analysis of the document.

One round of follow-up questions about the critique and analysis is included. Follow up questions shall be limited to a half-hour or less of the Editor's time.

Details of the content editing are as follows: Editing for grammar, usage, spelling, punctuation, and other mechanics of style; checking for consistency; clarifying meaning; eliminating jargon; and polishing language. Includes incorporating author’s responses to queries and checking the input thereof.
